Tulip Festival...

On Monday my sisters and I(and kids) went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was such a beautiful day(which I was SO ready for after all the snow we've been getting!) We packed a picnic and enjoyed the beautiful scenery as well as each others company. We had a lot of fun and of course so did the kids! We were there for several hours and the kids definitely burned a lot of energy.

My sisters and their kids.

I love the little stream that runs through the gardens.

I think this picture is so beautiful!

The beautiful waterfalls.

Jace loved all of the pretty flowers.

Some of the pretty flowers we saw.

The fish pond was probably the highlight for the kids. They would've stayed there all day long and fed the fish if we would've let them. There was one small tragedy and my niece's little plastic purse was dropped in the water. It eventually made it's way to the bank where my sister was able to grab it. After all that my nephew ended up braking it. :(

Jace loved scooting down the big hills...

Every now and then he would stop to take in the beauty!

Everyone having fun...

Simply beautiful...

More of the action...

Jace and I hiking back up a hill. He absolutely loved this hill and was sad when we had to leave...
Thanks sista's for another fun outing! I'm so glad it is finally warming up... we are going to have a fun summer!

Easter Sunday...

After church on Sunday we all headed up to Vivian Park in Provo Canyon for our monthly family gathering/Easter/Avery, Stephanie, and Shawn's birthday celebration. It would've been a perfect day if it wasn't so windy. It was our month to host the dinner and it was all planned perfectly in my head(why wind, why?)

The guys doing their thing...grilling, talking about motorcycles and who knows what else.

The girls doing our thing...preparing food, taking care of the kids, chatting and trying to stay warm.

Some of the yummy food we had. We also had my mom's homemade potato salad.

The wind doesn't stop these two from playing and having fun!

Hanging out...

The birthday girl getting some love from Laney and Nana.

Avery and Papa opening the books we gave her.

My sister Jamie made this awesome cake for Avery. She is so talented and she even made all the butterflies.

We finished the day with an Easter egg hunt for the kids. They all had fun.

I forgot Jace's basket, so our hands had to due.

Thanks everyone for a fun time and yummy food as usual! We need to go again when it's not so windy.

Jackson Hole...

After we left Rexburg, we decided to head to Jackson Hole for a couple of days. We loved driving around looking at animals. We saw some moose, deer, swans, and elk. Driving home we took the scenic route and we saw tons of deer, elk and antelope. We stayed at the Rustic Inn which was so nice. They had a heated swimming pool that Jace absolutely loved and a hot breakfast in the morning with omelets made just for you...so yummy!
Jace had his first Easter Egg hunt at the square. The funny thing is we got there right when everyone went running, and so we didn't find any eggs, they were gone in a matter of a minute. Luckily they had some eggs for those of us that are a little slow... :)

Poor Jace! Or should I say poor bunny? :)

The clan...

Window shopping was my favorite. We loved the galleries and food. Can't wait to go back again...

Rexburg Graduations...

On Thursday we headed to Rexburg, Idaho for Aaron and Vivian's graduation from BYU Idaho. Aaron graduated with his Bachelor's in Business Management and Vivian graduated with her Associates Degree. Don't they look so happy and cute together!

It was a great graduation(not too long.) :)

Jace really enjoyed the speakers...

After we headed to Craigo's for a great pizza/pasta/salad buffet. It was so yummy that I think we all stuffed ourselves...

The next day before leaving to Jackson we headed up to see the Mesa Falls. Well, a few miles before we got there this is what we ran into...road block! The drive up was still worth it though, so pretty!

On our way back down we stopped and fed some humongous trout at this bridge. It was probably the highlight of the trip. There were millions of fish and they were so active. Jace thought it was pretty cool. Congrats again Aaron and Vivian!

Living Planet Aquarium...

On Monday we headed to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. We had a bigger group this time which included Justin, Jace and I, Jamie(and kids) Stephanie(and kids) and Shalane. It was lots of fun! As you can see it was pretty much impossible to get the kids to slow down long enough to look at the camera.

The rest of the group.

The boys checking out the big aquarium.

Here is some of what we saw.

All of the kids.

The big kids...got to keep it fun right!?! Nice tongue Shalane! :P

Jace loved the little canoe.

Jace loved looking at all of the sea creatures and getting into everything.

My nieces and nephews enjoying the aquarium.

Petting the Sting Ray...they feel SO weird-not like you would think.

I love my Jace...and we LOVED the Living Planet Aquarium.
