Fun With Jace

Jace loves reading books. I love this picture because Jace was so excited, he was kicking his arms and legs like crazy. I also love it when Justin reads to Jace, he is so cute with him.

Jace loves his bath robe that he got from Rick and Jenelle Haynie. Isn't he just the cutest in it too?

Jace getting some after bathtime lovin' from daddy.

Grandpa Ed and Grandma Julie came to visit today and see Jace. Don't you love his red cheeks, mom forgot to put sunscreen on him yesterday. Oops!

Grandpa Ed had Jace just a giggling, but this picture looks more like Jace had Grandpa giggling.

More Mother's Day Fun

All of the cousins loved playing together, even though Jace is still confined to his swing.

The weather was so beautiful outside after dinner that we headed out for some football, swinging and scooter riding.

Justin pulled out his scooter and Brinley and Tyler went nuts.

Tyler loved the scooter rides that Justin gave him, he was all smiles. :)

Brinley is still a little too small for a scooter ride, but she sure has good taste in shoes! I just thought that this picture looked so Spring like!

~HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY~

Happy Mother's Day from our family to yours!

I just wanted to take a nice family picture for Mother's Day and this is how it turned out! Gotta love Justin acting like he is in 1st grade again, what is it with boys? Don't worry, I made him take another picture.

I knew you could do it Justin!

Great Grandpa Webster Maughan came over for Mother's Day, so we had to get a picture with him.

Jace with Grandma Kristin Maughan. He loves his Grandma so much, and loved spoiling her with a "Blow Out" to change for Mother's Day!

Our Mother's Day celebration of course started with the Jazz game! GO JAZZ! Then we had a Mother's Day dinner with Great Grandpa Maughan, Grandma Kristin, Braden, Melissa, Tyler, Josh, Darren, Ashley, Brinley, and soon to be baby James Beckham. The food was amazing and the company was even better.

Jace's First Pictures

Today we went to Kiddie Kandids to get Jace's picture taken. They turned out so cute that we had to buy them all. Why are we such suckers?

Jace is destined to play soccer!

New Hair Do

So Jace and I had a fun little outing today. We drove to Ogden where my friend Dawnese lives who does hair. I felt like my hair needed a major makeover since I haven't even had a trim in 9 months! Holy Cow that is a long time for me. So here is a fun picture of the process of getting my hair done. To see the results check back tomorrow.

Jace loved sitting in this cute little chair of Savannah's.

Isn't he so handsome!?!

Savannah loved having Jace over, she wanted to hold him the whole time we were there, it was so cute. And we all know that Jace loves to be held!

Jace's Blessing

Jace was blessed today by his daddy Justin. It was a beautiful blessing. He was blessed to develop physically, mentally, and spiritually. He was also blessed to listen to his mommy and daddy, :) serve a mission and find a special daughter of God to marry. All the things I could ever hope for my son.

Jace's Nana Kristin bought his adorable blessing outfit for him. He looks like a porcelain doll right here, such a good poser.

Believe it or not, this is my dad Stephen sleeping with one eye open. :) We love you dad!

The Happy Burrup Family

Saddest Face In The World

This is what Justin calls the "Saddest Face in the world." He does this to let us know that he is either hungry, wet or tired. But this picture was taken when he was sound asleep. I think he was having nightmares of the birth experience again. It has got to be just as tramatic for the baby as it is for the mommy!

Bath Time

Jace loves bath time. Probably because Justin spoils him. Actually I was told you can't spoil a newborn!

All wrapped up after one of his baths.
Isn't this just the cutest face you have ever seen? I think so!

THE BIG JAZZ GAME

Justin meeting Deron Williams

Deron Williams signing Justin's jersey.

Justin with the referees

So, Justin entered a drawing a U.S. Bank for tickets to the Jazz game on April 14th vs. the Houston Rockets. Well, he won them. He was the Co-Captain for the night, so he got a floor pass while they warmed up, a William's jersey (which he signed for him) and he got to go to center court right before the game with D. Williams, Carlos Boozer and the Houston Rocket's captains.

Justin with AK 47 in the background warming up.

Here is Justin at center court. He is the one with the Williams jersey on. They even announced his name when he went to center court. This is where he got to meet (shake hands) with both teams Captains. He was so excited.

Here is Justin's backside (which I love) and his autographed jersey!

Mama's Good Milk

Here is picture of Jace sleeping soundly. This shows what happens after he gets some of Mama's good milk.

Diaper Duty

So here is a picture of Justin when it is his turn to change Jace's diaper. Not really, but it makes for a good picture. He got it as a gift from his Dad and Julie. :)

Justin and Jace

This is Jace at 6 weeks old. Justin is just so proud to finally be a daddy.
