Happy Father's Day Dad

This is a picture of Justin's Dad Ed. He is with 6 of his 10 grandkids and 1 on the way. What we like most about him besides how he loves us is seeing his many collections (coins, sand, elephants, Book of Mormons, etc.) and hearing about his adventures in Africa and all over the world (he works in the translation dept. for the church.)

Happy Father's Day Dad

This is my dad Stephen George Crosland. This picture was taken at my wedding while Justin and I were dancing. I think he is wondering how his little girl grew up so fast. The one thing I love about my dad besides how much he loves us is that he can fix anything and everything. Everytime he comes up to visit I always have a handful of things for him to fix and he always fixes them with the joy of a little boy!

Charlie Boy's Pit BBQ

Today was such a beautiful day that I decided we were going to go on a walk. So we got Jace all geared up in his stroller and headed out. We decided to stroll to Charlie Boy's Pit BBQ. It is located in Lehi on Main Street. It is about 2 1/2 miles from our house but we made it. We sang Happy Birthday to the owner's sister-in-law Peggy Sue and Charlie threw in some free drinks and ice cream. What a deal huh!?! The pulled pork sandwich was great too! Then we checked out the Lehi Legacy Center which we are probably going to join so we can finally get in shape. Finally we headed back home. It was great to be able to come to a nice air conditioned home when all was said and done! Jace loved the stroller ride too!

HUBBY TAG

My sister-in-law Ashley tagged me, so enjoy y'all! I am going to tag Rebekah Camblin, Nathalie Harris, Stephanie Gewondjan and Jamie Speed!

How long have you been married? A little over 2 1/2 years...

How old is your spouse? 33

Who eats more? Justin just said that he definitely does, but I can put food away too.

Who said I love you first? Justin did, after a few weeks of dating. He called me "Babe" after 3 dates though! :)

Who is taller? I AM! SEXY HUH! I am 5'6" and Justin is 5'3 1/2", don't forget the half!

Who sings better? Definitely Justin. He really does have a nice voice and he can impersonate different singers which is hilarious. I on the other hand can barely hold a note. Just ask my sister Jamie. It was so bad once that she pushed me off of the counter because my singing must have hurt her ears!

Who is smarter? I've got the book smarts for sure and Justin has got the street smarts or common sense. My family could tell you some funny stories about stupid things that I have said.

Who controls the T.V. remote? Justin used to, but now I think I do since I am a stay at home mom. He gets the control late at night though while I catch some z's.

Whose temper is worse? Justin's is, which he rarely shows. I am very easy going too.

Who does the laundry? I do, especially the washing. I had to take control when Justin washed my nice sweaters with towels, etc. He will help with the folding though.

Who does the dishes? I do, but since I have had Jace, Justin has really stepped up!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you’re looking at it, Justin does.

Who cooks dinner? We both love to cook, but Justin does have more experience, especially cooking meat!

Who is more stubborn? Definitely Justin

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Justin is, I am never wrong!!!!! However, I am first to say that I am sorry! Why is it so hard for men to say sorry?

Whose parents do you see the most? Justin's, but my parents come up a lot to see us!

Who has more friends? Justin, he knows everybody and everybody loves him!

Who has more siblings? Believe it or not I do. I have 6 siblings (4 sisters and 2 brothers) and Justin has 5 siblings, all brothers.

Who wears the pants in the family? We both do, but Justin is the patriarch of the home!

Zermatt Stay In Midway

Over the weekend we went to Midway to stay at the Zermatt Resort. Three of Justin's brothers went (Darren, Braden, and Aaron) with their wives and kids. We went swimming, played minature golf, got shakes at the famous Granny's and played card games 'til all hours of the night. We also learned that Vanilla Coke Zero results in Braden on a high and Justin singing every song he can think of (you had to be there.) :) Here are some pictures of our adventure at the Heber City Park.

Isn't this just the cutest? He has discovered that his fingers work as good as a paci.

Cousin Brinley and Jace just chillin' on the banana chair.

Fun With Jace

Jace loves reading books. I love this picture because Jace was so excited, he was kicking his arms and legs like crazy. I also love it when Justin reads to Jace, he is so cute with him.

Jace loves his bath robe that he got from Rick and Jenelle Haynie. Isn't he just the cutest in it too?

Jace getting some after bathtime lovin' from daddy.

Grandpa Ed and Grandma Julie came to visit today and see Jace. Don't you love his red cheeks, mom forgot to put sunscreen on him yesterday. Oops!

Grandpa Ed had Jace just a giggling, but this picture looks more like Jace had Grandpa giggling.

More Mother's Day Fun

All of the cousins loved playing together, even though Jace is still confined to his swing.

The weather was so beautiful outside after dinner that we headed out for some football, swinging and scooter riding.

Justin pulled out his scooter and Brinley and Tyler went nuts.

Tyler loved the scooter rides that Justin gave him, he was all smiles. :)

Brinley is still a little too small for a scooter ride, but she sure has good taste in shoes! I just thought that this picture looked so Spring like!

~HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY~

Happy Mother's Day from our family to yours!

I just wanted to take a nice family picture for Mother's Day and this is how it turned out! Gotta love Justin acting like he is in 1st grade again, what is it with boys? Don't worry, I made him take another picture.

I knew you could do it Justin!

Great Grandpa Webster Maughan came over for Mother's Day, so we had to get a picture with him.

Jace with Grandma Kristin Maughan. He loves his Grandma so much, and loved spoiling her with a "Blow Out" to change for Mother's Day!

Our Mother's Day celebration of course started with the Jazz game! GO JAZZ! Then we had a Mother's Day dinner with Great Grandpa Maughan, Grandma Kristin, Braden, Melissa, Tyler, Josh, Darren, Ashley, Brinley, and soon to be baby James Beckham. The food was amazing and the company was even better.

New Hair Do

So Jace and I had a fun little outing today. We drove to Ogden where my friend Dawnese lives who does hair. I felt like my hair needed a major makeover since I haven't even had a trim in 9 months! Holy Cow that is a long time for me. So here is a fun picture of the process of getting my hair done. To see the results check back tomorrow.

Jace loved sitting in this cute little chair of Savannah's.

Isn't he so handsome!?!

Savannah loved having Jace over, she wanted to hold him the whole time we were there, it was so cute. And we all know that Jace loves to be held!
