Vineyard Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze...

I love October because we do so many fun Halloween/Fall things all month long with my sisters. Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch/Corn maze in Orem. Here are some of the highlights.

We all got a little hungry trying to find our way out of the corn maze that we had to take a corn break!

After we made our way out of the corn maze there was a place for the kids to play around and also animals to look at. Jace loved the tunnel.

Jace tried so hard to climb to the top of the slide.

He made it this far before mommy had to help him to the top. It is a little tricky to climb!

Party at Jungle Jim's...

Brinley turned 3 today, and Jace got invited to her Birthday Party at Jungle Jim's. He was in heaven every minute! This is a picture of all of the party kids.

Who's excited for Halloween? We Are, We Are!!!

Gardner Village...

On Friday my sister's and I(and kids) went to Gardner Village. I love it during Halloween because it is all decked out with witches and fun Halloween stuff. They had a DJ playing music above a little stage where the kids(or whoever wanted) could go dance. It definitely got me in the Halloween spirit! On the drive there, there was an accident on the freeway, and it took us about 45 minutes to drive 2 miles! It totally sucked, but somehow we survived. It was hard to go into the shops with the kids and strollers so we would take turns. My sisters and I are thinking we will dress up like witches next year and make it a GNO and leave the kids home. :)

Thanks Stephanie and Jamie for another adventurous outing... I look forward to going next year with just us girls... :)

Happy 65th Grandpa Ed!

Last night we had a surprise party for Ed's 65th birthday.

You may ask what happened to Ed's hand, and it is a result of the surprise party. I called Julie the night before to set it all up and she left the oil she had just put on the stove to talk to me. Well, next thing Ed knows is that there is a huge grease fire on the stove. He goes to put it out and as a result burns his hand very bad. He will probably have to get skin grafts, but he is hanging in there. Happy 65th Birthday Ed. We had a lot of fun with you, sorry about your hand. Oh, since four of Ed's sons were there he decided to get a priesthood blessing from them which was a really neat experience.

Potty Again...

Jace went pee pee in the potty again today. This time it was with me(Justin is out coyote hunting.) Jace went and grabbed his little potty seat that goes on the toilet and kept telling me that he needed to go pee pee. So, I sat him on the toilet and he went! It was really exciting, and he gets so excited too, and loves to flush the toilet! He is such a big boy, I can't believe it!

Since it is going to freeze, we decided to pick a lot of the veggies today...

American Fork Canyon Dinner...

Tonight we went up American Fork Canyon to see all the pretty leaves and have a dutch oven dinner. The weather was perfect and so was the food(dutch oven potatoes, dutch oven chicken and peach cobbler.)

Jace loved every minute in the canyon. He was born loving the mountains.

We went on a little nature walk while the men were preparing the food. Jace loved picking up the colorful leaves, and giving them to daddy and grandpa.

Justin and I took Jace to see the river which of course he loved.

Our group(minus the Carn's who took the picture.) It was Avery's(the Carn's baby girl) first time in the mountains, and she loved it too!
