Kids Safety Expo...

Today Jace and I headed to the Kids Safety Expo in Sandy with my friend Dawnese and her 3 girls. The kids had so much fun, especially with the face painting. Jace had a panda bear painted on his face. He thought that it was so cool, and was so sad when we had to wash it off tonight!

Savannah, Jace and Mallarie

Jace loved seeing the firetruck.

He especially loved getting inside of the truck and sitting behind the big wheel.

They had so much there for the kids and us adults to do and learn about. Jace did score a goal on his first try; a straight, fast, gut shot. Looks like we have a little soccer player on our hands.

Movie Day...

Today we went to the movie, The Princess and the Frog provided by our rentals HOA. They even provided the movie snacks which Jace thought was the coolest thing. He got his very own snack pack.
Jace did so good during the movie. He loved the frogs and the alligator.

Guess now that Jace is 2 he is ready to go to more movies.

Look Who's 2!!!

Our little boy turned 2 today and we celebrated all day long! We started the day off with a little swimming. He loved having Daddy there to hold him(Jace and I spent the summer at 7 Peaks, so having Daddy swim with him was such a treat!)

Our little family.

Then we headed to McDonald's(Grandpa Ed and Grandma Julie gave him a gift card), so he got his very first kids meal. Of course he had to play a while too.

Next we went to Cold Stone and he got his very own ice cream. He loved it and was in heaven. Then we went home and he had a good nap before we started the evening festivities.

Melissa, Braden, Tyler and Josh came over to celebrate. We made little pizza's and then had cupcakes. Jace loved blowing out his candles, the first thing he said was that he wanted to do it again. They learn so early to love fire!

He loved his cupcake, but didn't like being sticky and dirty!

Finally he opened his presents! I can't believe that Jace is already 2. He is such a good boy and at such a fun age! Happy Birthday Jace, we love you too much!

Hunting Expo...

We decided to tag along with Daddy today to the Hunting Expo in Salt Lake City. Jace loved it, especially looking at all of the animals and eating all of the free candy! I do believe that we have a little hunter on our hands!

Winter Park Adventures...

Jace has just been itchin' to get outside so today we gave in, bundled him up and took him to the park. It was a little cold, but we all survived and Jace was in heaven.

Jace loves the slide. He would have gone down all day if we would have let him.

Please Spring come quickly so that Jace can go outside and play...without catching a cold.

Cabela's...

Jace absolutely loves Cabela's. He loves the fish, especially during feeding time and he loves looking at all of the animals. We have been making quite a few trips to Cabela's since the weather hasn't been nice enough to play outside.

20 Week Ultrasound!!!

Today we had the big ultrasound. Here is a profile of our little baby!

It's a BOY!

We are so excited, and so is Jace. He is already calling him "baby brother." The baby is measuring bigger then the due date I had, the ultrasound lady said he is measuring for June 8th! I am secretly hoping for an end of May baby!

His perfect little feet! Yes, we even counted his toes!

Snug as a bug in a rug...or a baby in a belly! Everything looked great on the ultrasound, and we are so excited for baby #2 to be a BOY! Now we just need a name...any suggestions?

Cabin Fun...

Last night we headed up to Heber with the Haynie's for a little cabin/snowmobiling/sledding fun! Jace was seriously in heaven. Justin took us both on a ride which was a lot of fun.

Jace all decked out and ready for the snow.

Jace was obsessed with the snowmobiles, and didn't want to get off.

Justin pulling Jace on a sled which he also loved.

This is Jace throwing a fit in the snow after his daddy left him to go for a big boys snowmobile run(you know the kind where you out run avalanches?...) That's what he said anyway.
Reece and Jace chillin' on the bench swing. Thanks Haynie's for a fun weekend!

Ice Fishing...

We decided to bring in the New Year with some ice fishing. It was Jace's first time and he was so excited!

The cutest ice fisher ever...

Everything Daddy did Jace wanted to do.

He got pretty good at using the big spoon!

I just loved this picture!

Looks like we have a little ice fisher on our hands...looks like he even drew in a fish! :)

Justin, Jace and our friend Adam all ice fishing.

Justin's first catch! He had many more, but Mommy had to take Jace home for his nap!

Christmas with the Crosland's...

Christmas afternoon we had my family over for our annual family Christmas party. My parents and all my siblings (and families) were able to be there except for Jennifer. We missed you guys Jen! We always have such a good time and I look forward to it every year! Here are some highlights... Santa made a visit (looks like he's lost a little weight) ...

Turns out Santa was looking for more than just a visit with the kids. :)

Everybody chowing down. We had yummy turkey roast with potatoes and carrots, my Aunt Carolyn's yummy rolls, artichoke cheese dip, veggie tray and pumpkin rolls and cake for dessert.

The kids opening presents.

The adults did a nice "White Elephant" gift exchange. It's so fun! Shalane and Stephanie ended up with the most wanted gifts... there was quite a battle for them (sorry Jamie and Mom... or should I say Ben and Dad?) ;) Justin got a new Domino's set and I got a $20 Quizno's gift card.

The kids LOVED climbing all over Steve and getting "horsey" rides. I have the best family ever! Thanks everyone for an awesome Christmas!
